Getting a photo now dude to explain the adjustments, hopefully will help
Its all in good working order so it will work haha, sometimes its not noticable unless you ride fast
But yeah, take a look at the pic

Sounds good man, the oil was pretty new, but was quite a heavy weight, a change will only make them better though

Yeah dude it should be fine 
If you want to try something different, open the top of the fork, and there will be like spacers in there, take some of the little ones out and you should feel the difference.
And the screws on the bottom, if you screw them all the way out, put some spacers on there, then tighten the bolt back on, with the spacers in between, that adjusts them to, they were working perfect dude..... hope this helps
